Applications Specialist
VizX Labs is seeking candidates to fill an Applications Specialist position. The primary responsibilities for this position are providing world-class scientific and technical support for biomedical researchers using the GeneSifter microarray analysis platform. Additional duties include pre-sales demonstrations and training, usually done on-line, and representing the company at scientific meetings and trade shows.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Providing scientific and technical assistance, demonstrating, and training via telephone, email, and on-line using presentation software such as WebEx

· Preparing and giving presentations demonstrating various aspects of company’s software

· Assisting in preparing documentation and training materials

· Occasional travel to scientific meetings, trade shows and on-site training

Qualification requirements:

· BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Biology or related field

· Strong computer and statistics skills

· Superior listening, oral, and written communication skills

· Attention to detail

Additional preference for experience in the following areas:

· Data Analysis Software

· Laboratory experience

· R statistical language

· QA
